Thank so much for creating this website. I’m the creator of the FB page on the Brookside. I’m smiling ear to ear surfing through this site. I had such amazing memories with my Grandparents (Joe and Sadie Susman) every summer. Talent night was a hoot and the ice cream afterwards was yummy!
visiting with my country cousins–the friedman family every summer of my early years until about 11 or 12 years old was a highlight in growing up. i learned to love the beautiful scenery, especially the mountain views, on the way from long island. i loved the smell and feel underfoot of the pine needles when i walked to the trailer and bungalows to visit aunt dora and uncle sonny and my aunt ann. i loved being out in the crisp morning air that was the cleanest i ever breathed before or since. going to college nearby in new paltz “took me home again”.
